How we handle security inquiries, subcontract opportunities and online security guard applications.

Defender Security Services Inc. ("Defender") collects personal information you provide through our forms to review security service requests, opportunities to work as a subcontractor, and employment applications.
Career applications and resumes
The application form may collect your name, email, phone, the Ontario regions you can work in, licence status, work history and resume. We use this to evaluate applications and contact applicants about relevant opportunities. Please don't upload your SIN, identification documents, banking details, date of birth or other sensitive records.
Security and business inquiries
We collect the contact, company and assignment details entered in the quote, general and prime contractor forms so we can respond. The prime contractor form is intended for security firms offering subcontract work to Defender.
Storage and access
Our website is hosted on Netlify. Form submissions, including uploaded resumes, are delivered to our business email by the form service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which may keep submission text for up to 30 days and does not keep uploaded files. We use Microsoft Outlook to receive and reply to email. Only authorized Defender staff access submissions and resume links.
Retention, access and correction
We keep submissions only as long as needed for the purpose they were sent. To request access, correction or deletion, email us; requests are reviewed under applicable law and operational requirements.
Other website services
The site loads Google Fonts and uses no advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Our hosting and form providers may use spam filtering and keep ordinary logs. Submitting a form is voluntary, but required fields are needed to process your request.
